New Technologies, Applications and a Plethora of Data
As we presented at the conference, we can interpret InSAR data in many oil and gas applications.
The image here shows historic deformation of an in-situ oil sands facility based on 4 years of cumulative vertical movement.
Using images every two to three weeks, the results show that some pads have risen (blue) over this time whilst others, and the plant to the right, have sunk.
The risks associated with this movement are obvious and this analysis can be used to optimise production and risk assessments.
